New Reality

I look outside the window and see commotion,

But that isn’t what was promised.

It was such a contrasting notion,

My world was destroyed by thousand comets.

Comparing James Blunt’s emotions to delusional inspiration,

Scratching off tally marks in my dairy was my mitigation.

Enthused to the new reality of new possibilities,

Hoping to create new abilities.

With my faith for leading a better humanity,

Wait, what am I gonna do? A 7 years old changing the world is Insanity!

I hang onto my dream, the size of the seeds of epiphytic orchids,

But my dream and the reality of humanity is absolutely Torpid!

Mind slipping wondering the process,

Freezing the brain to stay focused.

Reality seems stronger than prayers,

Its hard to focus when there’s an Authoritarian Slayer!

Giving a shot at every opportunities to develop cause I ain’t got nothing to lose,

Maybe I can make the smallest seed in the world to bear the biggest fruit.

Its only worse to leave the world the state you have found, and to refuse,

Maybe my new abilities will correct the devil at its roots.

Maybe it’s a good thing to have differences,

If I wasn’t then how do I expect to make the change.

Well, they called me the muse and yet they questioned my consciousness,

Maybe it’s what has got me to be who I am and where I am today.

In this songwriting, I have reflected on my narrative writing to bring forward the ideas of how I had initially assumed a boarding school to be and how I had discovered it of being after living there. I had presented my ideas of boarding school as a playful and joyful arena, where it would be amazing to grow up with friends and then faced with the reality of being a structured life routine around the clock for personal development. I had questioned the process, and yet I was holding on to my ideology of personal development, with the faith of assisting the future generational humanity, and how they have all structured the evolution of my development process to create who I am today.
